Robert Barnes moved to Pensacola from Nashville in 2001 to open the 9 Mile Road location of Chick-fil-A. Over the past 20 years, Robert has made an impact in Pensacola and the surrounding area, not only through his team and the guests they serve every day, but also through the various leadership positions he holds our community. He serves on the Board of Governors at Trinitas Christian School and is a board member of the Northwest Florida Foundation and the Pensacola Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife Connie are active members of McIlwain Presbyterian Church and are proud parents to three sons, Gary (Bethany), Josh, and Bryce, and they have one granddaughter, Poppy.
As the owner of Chick-fil-A 9 Mile Road, Robert understands the value of mentoring and developing each and every team member he employs. He desires to mentor and develop them beyond the necessary skills required to work in the restaurant and serve the guests. Robert and his Leadership Team put a great deal of focus on producing a new generation of highly motivated and professional leaders.
